Isabella Metz
2022 EAGLE Student
Isabella is from a small town close to Heidelberg. During her bachelors in Geoinformationmanagement in Karlsruhe, she got an insight into GIS, the data collection through measurements, a variety of environmental analysis for different purposes and their visualisation for target audiences. She focused on remote sensing due to its importance for environmental issues.
Within her internship at La Tene Maps in Dublin, she learned more about the different application fields of GIS, especially regarding renewable energies.
She joined the EAGLE master to learn about innovative earth observation methodologies to tackle environmental questions and issues and to predict future scenarios.
In her free time, she enjoys meeting friends for a beer, music and being outdoors hiking, windsurfing and traveling.
