Caroline Göhner
2021 EAGLE Student
Caroline comes from a small village close to Tübingen where she also did her bachelor’s in Geography. She is passionate about the vast opportunity remote sensing provides for the environment since getting in touch with it in her third semester. Working as a student employee within engineering offices, she particularly enjoyed the use of GIS but missed the opportunities remote sensing provides.
The EAGLE program is unique for her as she is confident that she will learn the craft here to help make the world a better place. She’s especially interested in Risk and Disaster and Multi-temporal Earth Observation and hopes that she will be able to fly a drone herself one day.
In her spare time, Caroline can be found either crocheting, watching series, or playing the piano when she’s not out walking – preferably with the family dog back home. Besides that, she loves to travel and dreams of her own campervan.
