Katrin Wernicke
2020 EAGLE Student
Katrin comes from a small village at the beautiful Lake of Constance. She studied at the University of Tübingen and found her way to remote sensing during her exchange semester at Helsinki University. Her previous remote sensing projects mainly focused on urban remote sensing with multispectral data, but she is looking forward to using her skills in a vast variety of remote sensing fields.
In her free time, she likes spending time with her friends, going hiking and skiing. This year she found her love for taking long walks and thereby exploring Würzburg, as well as cooking traditional German dishes like Zwiebelkuchen.
