Caroline Busse
2020 EAGLE Student
Caroline Busse is a proud Saxonian girl from the amazing city of Leipzig. She studied Management & Technology with a minor in Informatics at the Technical University of Munich where she discovered her passion for Data Science. Leaving the world of profit maximization, she followed her inner devotion for the environment and now hopes to unleash earth observation’s full potential to tackle environmental issues. Especially conservation and land use applications in the intersection of nature and mankind are of interest to her. She wishes to cooperate with NGOs and other stakeholders to derive meaningful measures from her analyses to foster a sustainable coexistence between human and nature.
In her free time, she highly appreciates ARTE documentaries and during recent times she found an interest in raising various low-maintenance plants. She also loves being outdoors, whilst growing her own veggies or exploring the forest.
