Diana Laura Jiménez Rodríguez is from Mexico, there she studied Environmental Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her thesis focused on understanding the functioning of tropical dry forests in the face of hurricanes from an ecological perspective.

She is currently studying the third semester of the master’s in Geography in the area of Integrated Landscape Management at the Centre of Research in Environmental Geography at UNAM. And now she would like to understand the dynamics in the space and time of the forests through remote sensing techniques.

She joined to the EAGLE program through a research stay promoted by her institute with the objective of learning programming and GIS techniques that will contribute to the development of her research.

When she has free time, she likes to paint in watercolor, read, watch series and go out to the movies with friends.
