Christoper Chan comes from Hong Kong. He recently graduated from BSc. Geography from the University of Edinburgh, and specialised in glaciology before coming to Würzburg to pursue this Master program. 

So far, the course has been great, he loves the new country (despite all its bureaucracy), an opportunity to learn a new language, and the international connection this course has provided him. If you do not see him in the library or in class, he is probably hermiting at home or in the climbing gym (and sometimes at a random pub after).

Otherwise, he loves learning about new languages, and is part of the “Effektive Altrismus” movement in Würzburg <– please do not hesitate to talk to him if you want to learn more about this, we always need more people, and its fun, and you may learn a lot! Hopefully by the end of these 2 years, he will become an independent Earth Observer able to manipulate the world and its data to his liking, MUHAHAHAHHAAHHAHA :~]
