2018 EAGLE student
Michael Wang is a 23 year old from the US, where he studied Geography at the University of Minnesota focusing on Geographic Information Systems before coming to the EAGLE program. He was born to Chinese immigrant parents in Georgia but was also lucky enough to have a childhood upbringing in a small township in Northeastern China.
In recent years he saw the massive change to the urban landscape, developing seemingly without end, which was both promising and troubling to him. He hopes that EAGLE will give him the tools and knowledge to be able to help the sustainable development of these cities in China, East Asia, and beyond, using Urban Remote Sensing methods.
