Silvan Steiner
2017 EAGLE Student
Silvan Steiner (24) studied Geography at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg for his Bachelor Degree, where he specialized on Physical Geography and Remote Sensing. During his Bachelor, he worked as a student assistant at the Department of Remote Sensing. In addition, he was a tutor for the basic Remote Sensing lectures given by Dr. Christopher Conrad for the Bachelor students.
He joined the EAGLE program to catch the opportunity to learn more about Remote Sensing and the related topics. He really appreciates the international environment of the EAGLE program and the close connection to the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
Silvan is member of the students debating club in Würzburg and likes to go to national debating competitions. He is interested in science, politics and history and likes to travel new countries.
