2017 EAGLE Student
Katrin Hasenbein (21) comes from a town in the sourroundings of Augsburg. For her Bachelors she moved to Munich, where she studied Geography at the Ludwig-Maximilians University. She gained her first experiences with remote sensing during her first studies and an internship at the German Aerospace Center. In her spare time, Katrin likes to do different kinds of sports such as track and field, tennis, skiing and hiking.
Katrin joined the EAGLE program because she is intrigued by the great potential remote sensing offers in the context of Earth Observation. She is especially interested in global change and hazard monitoring. Katrin also appreciates the international and familiar environment within the EAGLE program.
