Felix Glasmann
2017 EAGLE Student
Felix Glasmann (25) graduated in Geography and Biology at the Ludwig-Maximilians University
of Munich (B. Sc.).
During his stage studies he discovered Remote Sensing and Geoinformationsystems as perfect tools to detect and moreover to quantify and illustrate the ecological processes which drive the Earth´s environmental system and the relationship between them. Through two internships at the Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) and the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), he had the chance to apply the knowledge of his lectures on real projects. The inspiring work led him to the decision to choose the EAGLE M. Sc. program, to deepen his methodological and applicational knowledge regarding Remote Sensing and Geoinformationsystems.
In his spare time Felix likes to do sports like sailing, climbing and cycling
