Sarah Nolting
2016 EAGLE Student
Sarah Nolting (23) comes from a small town in the surrounding of Münster. She moved to Bonn for her first degree in Geography. In her spare time she likes to travel, to swim and to read. Additionally, she is interested in natural disaster documentaries and movies. During her Bachelors in Geography, she gained a lot of practical experience in remote sensing. Sarah worked for the Chair of Remote Sensing at the University where she discovered her interests in Earth observation. She is especially amazed by the topics of disaster management as an application of remote sensing as well as climate change and food security.
Sarah joined the EAGLE because she wants to deepen her knowledge in various fields of research and the practical use of remote sensing. During her studies abroad she experienced that internationality is very important in a global acting research field as remote sensing.
