Anna Orthofer (23) comes from a suburb north of Munich. She studied Geography and Biology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich where she first came in contact with remote sensing and GIS. She is especially interested in forest and biodiversity monitoring as well as glacier monitoring.

Anna joined the EAGLE master programme to deepen her knowledge in remote sensing and learn more about how to apply those skills to acquire information on environmental matters. Additionally she enjoys the international atmosphere of the programme and being able to get different perspectives from all over the world.
