Hi, I’m Loan Thai, from Vietnam. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. After graduating, I worked as a Data Scientist in healthcare and financial technology fields, developing models for diverse applications, from predicting lung diseases using X-ray images to assessing financial needs using big telco data.

Witnessing the devastating effects of natural disasters and climate change in my home country and beyond inspired me to transition into this field. I chose the EAGLE program to equip myself with in-depth knowledge in Remote Sensing and Earth Observation. By combining my data science expertise with current study, I hope to contribute to improving and protecting human life.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, cooking, and listening to music.
