Patrick Sogno (23) is from a suburb of Munich. He studied his bachelor program in Geography and South Asian Studies at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. He also spent a semester abroad in Hungary at Eötvös-Loránd-University in Budapest.

He is amazed by space and satellites and fascinated by what can be done with the data that is derived from them. For him, remote sensing makes it possible to see complexly related things on Earth and therefore being able to understand them better. That is why, after completing his bachelor’s degree, he joined the EAGLE program to continue and specialise his studies.
