Florian Baumgartner
2018 EAGLE student
Florian Baumgartner (22) is a Würzburger; he comes from a small village about 10 kilometers away from the city and also received his Bachelor of Science at the department of Geography at the University of Würzburg. His bachelor thesis focused on drone-based remote sensing and object-oriented analysis of the derived data.
After his thesis, he immediately applied to EAGLE and is now part of the master program. He is keen on further education in the field of remote sensing and related topics. To him, urban remote sensing is one of the major topics.
In his spare time, Florian is a mountain bike-enthusiast and did an alpine-crossing-tour some years ago. Besides some other hobbies like swimming or tennis, he likes metal crafting and ballroom dancing.
