Pilar Endara

Pilar Endara (29) is the only international woman in the EAGLE class of 2016. She is originated in Cartagena in Colombia. Her personal interests are reading, watching movies with friends and dancing. Pilar did her Bachelors in Biology and Natural Recourse Management. After finish working in an NGO in Brazil that combined environmental and social topics, she decided to deepen her knowledge in resource management.
When she moved to Germany she realized how important GIS and remote sensing are. Pilar aims to understand the techniques behind a proper resource management for example of protected areas, agricultural lands and water use. Therefore she joined the EAGLE program. She represents the international part of the students’ board and takes care of the needs of international students.
